When do I use Gentle Soap vs. Exfoliating Soap?
We created 2 bar soap formulas for the ultimate versatility. The gentle cleansing soap is meant for every day use even on fresh ink and is safe even for the most sensitive areas. The exfoliating soap uses charcoal for mild exfoliation to rinse away impurities and reveal brighter ink with all-natural ingredients - we recommend that you only use this on fully healed tattoos. Both are water activated, fragrance free and can be used on all skin types - inked or not.
What is the difference between the two soaps?
While both bar soaps provide moisturizing and cleansing benefits, there are some formula differences. The Gentle Cleansing Bar Soap is formulated with Glycerin, Aloe Vera and Coconut to leave skin fresh and soft. Gentle enough to use on fresh tattoos during the healing process without stripping. The Exfoliating Bar Soap is formulated with Glycerin, Activated Charcoal and Jojoba Oil to remove impurities, mineral-based exfoliants buff away dead skin cells, leaving skin fresh and more your ink revived. You only want to use the Exfoliating Bar Soap on fully healed, existing ink.
Can I use Mad Rabbit’s bar soaps on a new tattoo?
The Gentle Cleansing Soap is formulated for use on fresh tattoos. Do not use the Exfoliating Bar Soap on fresh tattoos - only healed, existing tattoos.
I have a nut allergy. Can I use these products?
If you have a nut allergy, you should consult with your doctor about what foods to avoid. Even though coconut isn't a nut, some people who are allergic to tree nuts (like almonds, cashews, and walnuts) can also experience an allergic response to coconut.
What kind of tattoos and skin tones does Mad Rabbit work on?
Mad Rabbit works on all kinds of tattoos and all colored skin tones.
How are these bar soaps different from other bar soaps?
Our Bar Soaps are specifically formulated for inked skin, but also work great for skin without tattoos. We use all-natural, clean ingredients in both the Gentle and Exfoliating Bar Soap formulas that you can feel good about putting on your skin and your tattoos.
