Love the gel & wash, not so much the balm stick

Although I’m big fans of both the soothing gel and the tattoo wash, I didn’t at all like the balm stick. It was so thick that it was hard to use as intended so I had to scrape some off the top then try to gently rub on my tattoo. It also is oddly gritty before it warms up which easily irritated my tattoo. I have sensitive skin anyway but this is my 5th tattoo and I thought this would be a great all-in-one starter kit. Maybe it works well for someone that doesn’t have sensitive skin.

If I was only rating the soothing gel and the tattoo wash, I’d give 6 stars out of 5. But the balm stick was virtually unusable even to try to use on my already existing tattoos. It’s simply too thick to be practical.

So easy and straightforward

So easy and straightforward. The soothing gel was so crucial when my wrap came off. My skin doesn’t always love the adhesive in the wrap and the gel even worked to help with that.

I was really trying to avoid my Aquaphor approach as times and studies are changing. I really loved how my kit helped my leg tattoo recover, as the gel felt like the perfect amount of moisture. I didn't feel clogged or anything. My one worry came from the stickiness from the gel..I felt like even pea sized amounts over a fair spread area would leave too much stick. Other than that no worries!! The body wash was a great gentle clean for my new ink.
