Ambassador of the Week: Nicole Gray ⭐
Nicole's tattoos read as bold and unapologetic. Spend two minutes with her answers and you find out the part that doesn't show: how soft her heart is, and how much work it's taken to keep it that way.
Her first tattoo was flash work, the day she turned 18. Back in the 90s that was still real rebellion, not everyone had ink yet, and she wanted hers before anyone got the chance to tell her what it should mean.
The one that carries the most weight now is the lotus on her back. She got it in the middle of a divorce, a move, and rebuilding her life from nothing. "Lotus flowers grow out of mud," she says. "That tattoo reminds me that my journey may have started from mud, but I grew into a beautiful person because of what I went through."
Mad Rabbit is the only thing that touches her tattoos, no exceptions. "The tattoo doesn't stop being your responsibility when the needle leaves the skin," she says. "Aftercare is part of protecting the work you've created."
