28 April, 2025It’s great to see you all again! (If I were really seeing you, I’d compliment your tattoos and probably ask what you're using for aftercare.)
We’re rolling into the last week of April, and whether you’ve been grinding in the studio, spreading the Mad Rabbit word online, or just vibing through allergy season—hey, we see you.
Our Pro Glide relaunch is only two days away, and it’s something we’re truly proud of. It still has all the clean ingredients you love, but this new version is smoother, more consistent, and way more stable. It won’t melt off your glove mid-session—and yeah, we’ve heard that it smells pretty damn good too 😏. Big thanks to our artist community for all the feedback and testing that got us here.
Even if you’re not an artist, there are still plenty of ways to get involved. You can gift a Glide to your tattooer, help spread the word, or take part in the Glide challenges launching this Friday. Every bit of support helps us keep creating products the whole tattoo community can be proud of.
Dinner is ready! Here comes the airplaneeee… weeeee

Ambassador Post Highlights 🤳
Not sure if something fits the vibe? If you ever want feedback before submitting or posting, just reach out—we’re more than happy to help.
Great content doesn’t have to be complicated, but a little extra thought goes a long way. Add some context when showing off a product (what’s the why?), make sure competing brand logos aren’t creeping into frame, and always ask yourself: Would this make me want to try it? If you’ve been sticking to photos, try mixing in some movement. Reels, even simple ones, tend to hit harder these days.

Ellis Ink | Toledo, OH
Tracci King’s path into tattooing wasn’t exactly traditional—it started with music, MySpace, and graphic design. “I had been self-learning graphic design and digital art in high school, doing logos and MySpace art for the bands that I was in (drummer).” That creative spark led him to piercing, where he spent ten years honing his skills in the shop. But everything shifted when a fellow artist saw his digital work and pushed him to pick up a machine. “Him learning about my art background turned into a healthy amount of peer pressure to start tattooing.”
At first, tattooing was just another job—until he discovered the vibrant, mind-blowing work of artists like Dan McWilliams and JP Tronwalker. “That’s when the real fire for tattooing was lit for me.” It didn’t take long before Tracci was fully immersed in the world of anime and pop culture tattoos, bringing bold characters and vivid colors to life.
At last year’s Toledo Tattoo Festival, Tracci had a moment that really stuck with him. He didn’t take home a trophy, but a near-win in a stacked category was all the proof he needed that he was on the right path. “It was no small feat for me as a 3rd year tattooer to get that far alongside so many other talented artists.”
Now, Tracci is making his mark on the convention scene, with wins under his belt and an even bigger schedule ahead. He specializes in full-color, detail-heavy pieces inspired by his favorite fandoms. “I love working with color. I love learning color and practicing color theory.”
When designing a custom piece, his approach is simple: “Finding out what they want, saying ‘hell yeah,’ and making it happen.” That energy translates into every piece, whether it’s a dragon aspect from World of Warcraft or a bold manga panel.
He’s not shy about the business side of things either. “Tattooing is what I get to do, marketing is my job.” His advice to aspiring artists? Be ready to build your brand—not just your portfolio.
Outside the studio, you’ll find Tracci deep in World of Warcraft, catching up on anime, or kicking it with his wife and son. “When I’m not tattooing I usually think about how to get better at tattooing... But when I actually allow myself to not be working, I love sinking some serious hours into World of Warcraft.”
His go-to Mad Rabbit product? The Repair Gel. “It allows me to get more tattooing done faster, the clients are able to sit longer, and the tattoos come back healed better.” And his favorite part of being in the Mad Rabbit family? “The people are great, as is the community... I’d like to think I’m following the same path with tattooing.”

2025 Conventions: Anime Ink, Savannah
Written by Griff
This past weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Anime Ink in Savannah, Georgia — an anime tattoo convention that felt like a dream come true. Imagine a kid in a candy store: endless anime tattoos, jaw-dropping cosplay, unique trinkets, and the coolest merch everywhere you look. Total wonderland.
One of the biggest highlights? I got to meet Oleksandr Majarsky (@majarsky_ink), one of our newest sponsored artists, and together we created two epic Demon Slayer tattoos — both of which ended up winning 1st place awards! Unreal. I also had the pleasure of meeting Luis, another one of our talented sponsored artists, who racked up multiple awards over the weekend as well.
And throughout all of this, I had the chance to use the new and improved Pro Glide — this time from the client’s perspective, after sitting through over 20 hours of back-to-back tattooing.
Here’s what stood out to me:
- The glide noticeably enhanced Olek’s control. I experienced minimal pain, and it helped the machine and needle move effortlessly across my skin.
- Even under the pressure of finishing competition pieces quickly, we took short breaks to reapply the glide. It calmed my skin instantly, reducing irritation and cooling down the heat my body was giving off.
- While the Pro Glide is meant to support the artist, I barely noticed it was there, which is exactly the point. It did its job without interrupting the experience, making the process smoother for both sides.
- Bonus moment: Oleksandr told me the scent reminded him of the first glide he used as a tattoo artist back in Ukraine. It was such a special moment, and he’s truly an incredible individual to connect with.
Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Now, to care for these award-winning pieces, I’m on the healing journey with Tattoo Wash & Soothing Gel.
Next stop: Hell City, Ohio (5/2–5/4).
Sorry for swearing in the intro,
Noah (aka tender) & Griff!!
