I just got back from Hell City Columbus, and I’m still catching up on sleep—but it was 100% worth it. These conventions are wild in the best way: long days, sore feet, hoarse voices... and yet, no one wants to leave. Because underneath the chaos and caffeine is something deeper—community, creativity, and nonstop inspiration.
 
I got to hang with ambassadors, sponsored artists, pro team members, and even a few people I’d only known online until now. We were all tired as hell, but still showing up for each other—sharing ideas, hyping each other up, and building something real.
 
It reminded me that this isn’t just a brand. It’s a culture. One that lives in conversations at booths, compliments on healed pieces, and stories shared between strangers who leave as friends. You start to see the same faces at every show, and before long, you realize—you’re part of something bigger than yourself.
 
So here’s what I took away from the weekend: be someone’s homie first. You don’t need a sales pitch—just be real. Talk about what works for you, what doesn’t, what you love. People remember connection way more than they remember a code.
 
Whether you’re grinding at a convention, tattooing back-to-back in your studio, or building your community online, just showing up means something. Keep showing up.
