Some weeks just feel off—and if you’ve been in one of those lately, you’re not alone. I’ve been in a bit of a reflective place myself, thinking about where I’m spending my energy and what I actually want to build, both inside and outside of work.
 
It’s easy to get caught up in the pace of everything, but this program has always been about more than that. It’s about showing up with intention. Creating things that feel real. And being part of a community that’s figuring it out and moving forward, together.
 
If you’re feeling solid, keep that momentum. And if you’re not, be gentle with yourself. Keep showing up in whatever way you can. And maybe check in on someone else while you’re at it—because this space is better when we’re looking out for each other.
 
Now, here’s what’s new:

• New shirts are in. If you’re turning in strong, high-quality content, I’ll unlock them this week—watch for an SMS when they go live.
  
  
• Father’s Day is coming. If you’re a tattooed dad, we’d love to feature you. Submit through the challenge in your dashboard or reach out directly.
  
  
• Two major campaigns are on the way. First up: SPF relaunch. And the second… let’s just say it’s one of our biggest announcements yet 👀

We know the out-of-stocks have been a real pain, and it’s frustrating for everyone. It makes selling harder, pushes clients to Amazon and Walmart, where you don’t earn commission, and even impacts your orders and rewards because we can’t offer what’s not available. We’re working hard to fix this.
 
Good news: Tangerine Vanilla Balm Salve is back on and shipping soon. It’ll be a reward option again soon, too. And SPF? It’s so fukn close.

From City to Skin: Lau Mestre’s Nomadic Tattoo Life

Over the past couple of years, my partner and I have had the amazing opportunity to travel across more than 10 countries, tattooing in countless cities and meeting so many incredible people along the way. This journey has been nothing short of life-changing, filled with learning, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of the global tattoo community.
 
Traveling and tattooing together is what made this experience possible. From the vibrant art scene in cities like Paris and Madrid to quieter coastal towns with hidden gems like Imperia in Italy, we’ve seen so many sides of the industry.
 
Across all the studios we’ve worked in, we’ve noticed patterns. Some of the most successful spaces had a few things in common: great communication, clear structure, and a genuine effort to make artists feel at home. On the flip side, a few places struggled with basic cleanliness or organisation, small details that make a big difference in creating a professional environment.
 
After a few years on the road, we are finally settling down in Hawaii. Working as a resident artist at the wonderful shop of our friends Lisa and Brett, The Collective Tattoo in Kailua, Oahu. After all the moving around, we’re incredibly grateful for all the experiences we've had. But finally, it has become the time to settle, and have the stability and space that we wish to continue evolving (me) as an artist and us as human beings.
 
However, that doesn't mean that I won't guest anymore! We’ll be visiting several places across the U.S. during the next few years, including Los Angeles, New York and wherever we get invited to! We’re especially looking forward to visiting the Mad Rabbit studio in L.A. and finally meeting the team in person. They have been a key factor in our success. We are very grateful for our friendship and proud to be part of this family that so much aligns with our life values.
 
This journey has taught us so much — and it’s only the beginning.
 
For those tattoo artists looking to guest in Europe, we highly recommend The White Whale Tattoo Society in Milan — one of the best-run studios we've ever been to.
