 Welcome back to the bi-weekly bonanza. Thanksgiving is next week, and whatever the holiday looks like for you—shorter days, good food, football, catching up with friends, or finally getting some sleep. I hope you take a moment to be present and soak it all in. This season naturally brings some reflection, and after a long year, you deserve to acknowledge your growth and give yourself grace for anything still on the to-do list.

Silvia’s path into tattooing started unexpectedly when a studio owner discovered her drawings online. With no formal training and no experience with a machine, she trusted her instinct anyway. “I wanted to prove to myself and to my family that yes, I could be successful by doing art.”

⭐ Ambassador of the Week: Joseph Hendricks 
Most people would never guess it, but Joseph has twenty-five tattoos and a real connection to each one. He grew up around tattoos since “my parents and sister all had at least one tattoo, so I grew up thinking they were cool and wanted some myself.”
 
The tattoo that means the most to him is a portrait of his dog on his left calf. “He's only 5 still, so I'll *knock on wood* still have him for a good amount of time. But I think it's so special that I will always have him with me even after he's gone.”
 
Mad Rabbit has become part of his routine over the years. “The balms and lotions have brought some of my faded tattoos back to life.” He also trusts the body wash to protect his color work. “Previous soaps were definitely making my colored tattoos fade.” He has healed his newest tattoos with Mad Rabbit and even introduced friends and family to the products.
 
Joseph’s tattoos reflect where he is in his life and how he has grown into himself. “As a queer person, we grow up as an alternate version of ourselves to stay hidden.” His first tattoos came from that place. Now his newer pieces feel true to him. “As I have accepted myself more and let who I am come to the surface, my tattoos reflect that and feel more like me.”
 
Joseph’s story is a reminder of what makes this community special. Every tattoo carries a little bit of where we’ve been and who we’re becoming, and we’re grateful to have Joseph sharing that journey with all of us.
