⭐ Ambassador of the Week Spotlight: Brandy Bellittera
Ambassador for 3+ years

One of the most surprising things about Brandy is what you wouldn’t expect at first glance. “Most people wouldn’t guess that I am a teacher… we are able to express ourselves a bit more freely now than when I first started my career (almost twenty years ago!).” That balance between professionalism and self-expression says a lot about how far both tattoo culture and personal identity have come.
 
Her tattoo journey started the moment she turned 18, and it came from a deeply personal place. “For once, I had complete control… The pain helped release some of the anger and bitterness I didn’t want clouding my soul. I felt free, for the briefest of moments.” That sense of control and release is something a lot of people feel, but Brandy puts it into words in a way that really hits.
 
When it comes to meaning, one piece stands above the rest. “My mother’s handwriting… to remind me how much I was loved, by a woman who didn’t have to love me… but chose to anyway.” It’s a reminder that tattoos aren’t just art; they’re tied to the people and moments that shape us.
 
Tattoo care is something she takes seriously, no matter where she is. “I made damn sure I had my Mad Rabbit products with me… The healing process is moving much more smoothly thanks to these products.” From fresh ink to everyday protection in the Florida sun, she’s fully locked into her routine.
 
More than anything, tattoos have helped her step into who she is today. “For once in my life, I am happy with who I am and how I present myself to the world.” That confidence, that ownership, and that ability to turn pain into something meaningful is what this community is all about.
 
Brandy’s story is a reminder that tattoos can be more than just something you wear. They can be part of how you heal, how you grow, and how you show up as your most authentic self.
