Some things are just built for wherever you’re headed.
This isn't a once-a-year conversation for us. Oliver and I, and honestly, most of the team, discuss where this program is and where we want it to go almost constantly. But one specific conversation with Oliver a few weeks back is the one that actually led to this.
More rewards, more often. Cool stuff you'd actually be proud to carry, wear, or use, not just something to look at. And the part that matters most, sourced from you.
There's no reason a platform like this can't be used to support the people actually showing up for it, for us and for each other.
The first one drops early to mid-August. Timed on purpose, there's more happening that month than just this, and you'll see all of it below. If it lands, we're building this out all year, with something real in place before the holidays so we can start supporting each other and the small shops in this community, not just talking about it.
We haven't locked what comes after this first one. Reply and tell us what you'd actually carry, wear, or use, something Mad Rabbit or tattoo enough that you'd be proud to have on you. We're building this with you, not just for you.
One more thing before you get into it: there's a word highlighted like that one in every section below. Collect the first letter of each, top to bottom, and you'll spell out what's landing in your dashboard this August:
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Full reveal, plus bonus points, live inside this month's Trip-Proof Your Ink challenge.
National Tattoo Day, Recapped
July 17th came and went, and you all showed up for it. 766 orders this cycle, up from 345 last year. Revenue climbed almost 24%.
Here's the real story behind that number: more of you sold the full Lovers' Kit instead of one bottle of gel. That's the difference between a $12 sale and a $50 one, and it's the biggest reason commissions keep climbing.
Now, the part you've been waiting on.
National Tattoo Day Winners
Complete all three challenges, and get into the gift card draw. Only three of you finished all three, so this one was easy: Joab Canett, Aleasha Kinney, and Caitlin Friend each walk away with a $50 gift card. (Aleasha's Roll Call post is below, and it's worth the read.)
Land in the top 3 sellers by July 20, take home an Everything Kit plus 1,000 points: Brad, Abdul, and Jens. (Brad's name comes up again below; he had the single biggest cart of the cycle.)
Announcing these names is the easy part. → Check your dashboard, your prize is already sitting there.
What's Coming in August ✈
Wherever You Go launches early August, and the Tattoo Lovers' Kit is riding shotgun again as the hero product. If you were already pushing it after Tattoo Day, keep going; it's about to matter even more.
Here's the headline: Every Lovers' Kit sold through your code later this month ships with something new. We're not saying what yet. That's what the clue is for.
Where Commissions Are Coming From 💰
Top SKUs right now: Tattoo Lovers' Kit, Intro Kit, Everything Kit. The Lovers' Kit alone pulled $4.2K in ambassador sales this cycle, more than the next two combined.
Biggest order this cycle: Brad grabbed $236.61 in one cart, $59.15 of it landing straight in his pocket as commission (3 Travel Lotion, 1 Daily Lotion 9.5oz, 3 Vanilla & Coconut Tattoo Balm).
Top earners this cycle: Brad, Jens, Abdul, Roberto, Matthew.
Mad Rabbit Pro: only one artist placed a wholesale order this cycle, and it's a name you'll recognize, Jade, stocking up on Glide for herself. If you're a licensed or sponsored artist, your code gets your clients 5% off and pays you 5% commission on
madrabbitpro.com.

One more before we move on: a good chunk of our sponsored artists are at Gila Tattoo Expo this weekend, run by one of our own. With how many of you are on the roster, it's basically a wall of Mad Rabbit booths side by side. Good luck this weekend, make us proud.
Want your name on this list next cycle? The challenges that led to these posts are below, and three of them are still open.
Ambassador of the Week: James Morley ⭐

James has been repping Mad Rabbit for four years, and every one of his tattoos comes with a story. What you might not know is how much those stories actually matter.
"My tattoos are more than just a permanent mark on my skin," James told us. "They are the reason I am still here today."
His first one wasn't even the one he planned on. He'd wanted a dragon for years, but the artist talked him into a hannya mask instead. It hurt enough that he swore it'd be his last. If you've seen his page, you know how that turned out.
The one that means the most now lives on his leg: an American traditional candle. "It stands for finding light in the dark," he said. That phrase is both his life motto and the name of his tattoo business, born out of a real fight with depression. The candle marked the turning point, and it's still the one he points to when people ask why he does this.
Daily care is simple for him: moisturize every day with Mad Rabbit, and lean on Soothing Gel and Tattoo Wash for anything new. "A dangerous combo," he says. "I've never had a bad healing experience thanks to them."
Ask him what tattoos gave him beyond the artwork, and he doesn't hesitate. "Hope, and a second chance at life. Something for people to appreciate and ask about."
Follow @jmtattstudio for the kind of ink that comes with a real story behind every piece, and use code JMTATTOO10 to stock up on the aftercare that got him through his own.
