Five days left to make it yours.
I got back from Lake Tahoe this week and finally used the travel tag myself instead of just staring at product photos of it. Four flights, a boat, three hikes, and a surfboard later, it held up.
But the thing I noticed most had nothing to do with the tag.
Every time I had Mad Rabbit on me, whether it was a tote, shirt, keychain, or hat, somebody stopped me. No setup. No sales pitch. Usually before I even said a word.
That’s the whole point of this campaign. Mad Rabbit goes where you go, and sometimes just having it with you is enough to start the conversation.
So if you’ve been meaning to make something for the travel challenges, this is the week.
The Lovers' Kit still ships with JT's tag right now, and there are fewer left than there were last week. The challenges tied to the campaign also close for good Monday, 8/31. Not sometime this month. Monday.
If you’ve been sitting on a post, now’s the time.
One more thing while we’re talking about the tag: it’s officially in the rewards shop now. We added 50.
You asked for it after the last newsletter, so we made it happen. And since we were at it, 100 mixed-color keychains just went up too. Nobody asked for that one, but it’s the kind of thing people clip onto something once and keep using.
If you got the SMS last week, consider this your reminder to claim yours.
If you didn’t, go look.
Where Commissions Are Coming From 💰
Top SKUs right now: Lovers' Kit, Everything Kit, Soothing Gel.
Quick gut check before the numbers: if your code's just sitting in your bio doing nothing else, it's still earning you something every time someone taps it. Real commission for zero effort. Most of you already have that running in the background.
Here's what happens when someone does one thing more. Demetria Winterling posted once this cycle, named the full routine instead of one product, and walked away with $38.20 off a single order.
The move: next time you post, name what you actually use, not just that you use it. That's the whole gap between passive and Demetria's cart.
Top earners this cycle: Abdul, Brad, Roberto, Jens, Cole.
Nothing on the Pro side this cycle. If you're a licensed artist and haven't run your code on
madrabbitpro.com yet, this is your sign. 5% off for your clients, 5% commission for you.
Post Highlights 🤳
⭐ Top Ambassador Submissions:
Someone stopped Sandy in the comments to ask what she was using. Sandy didn't just drop a code; she walked her through it in real time. This is the ambassador model working exactly the way it's supposed to. instagram.com/p/Db--Yr_xLEp
Jenna's reel is technically about Joe's new tattoo. It's also a full, funny pitch for the Lovers' Kit, "we use our code on our own purchases," wrapped inside a story people actually wanted to watch instead of scrolled past. instagram.com/reel/DcUjfCJPaVW
"I never leave home without" is doing a lot of work in Kalvin's caption. Daily Lotion, Balm, SPF, said before he even boards. Textbook Proof of Travel. instagram.com/reel/DcOn_Ezxv4T
Cindy kept it simple: unboxing, code, link, all live right in the caption. Nothing extra between watching and buying. tiktok.com/@rdzjmom
🎨 Top Ambassador Artist Submissions:
Gianna just went official as an ambassador, and made her first post the announcement, a Soothing Gel carousel. On brand from post one. instagram.com/p/DccGLnQm_4C
A 4 AM flight is stressful enough. A 4 AM flight with a fresh tattoo is worse, and Elba's reel names the exact anxiety before handing over the fix. instagram.com/reel/Dccm43pqPP7
The sun breaks down pigment and fades ink over time, and William's reminder is the kind of practical, slightly alarming fact people screenshot instead of scrolling past. tiktok.com/@inked_by_plague
Old tattoos need aftercare too, not just fresh ones, easy to forget. Jorge's Florida heat post makes that the whole point instead of an afterthought. instagram.com/reel/Db_GpoJMgkF
Save it before the trip, not during it. JonEric's "simple to follow tattoo protection guide" is exactly the kind of post people screenshot and forget about until they actually need it. tiktok.com/@illuminated.inkz
🖤 Top Sponsored Artist Submissions:
"If I didn't trust it, I wouldn't tell you to use it," Tracci says it plainly, then backs it up with a 2nd place finish at Twin Cities Tattoo Fest. Endorsement with receipts. instagram.com/reel/DcbRtTWuvyl
Foaming Wash, Soothing Gel, Sunscreen, laid out like a real pre-appointment routine, not a product list. Cipriana books two studio dates in the same breath. instagram.com/p/DcT7Fe5CcNW
"A great tattoo doesn't stay home just because you're traveling." Jonathan's line alone could be the campaign tagline. tiktok.com/@.jek215
TikTok Affiliate Program
Got a TikTok following and want more ways to get paid for it? We're running a TikTok affiliate program, GMV and bonuses on top of your usual commission, with weekly calls through Discord to review what's actually working and help you do more of it.
Ambassador of the Week: Davy de Jong ⭐
Almost everything Davy's wearing was done outside his home country. Every tattoo but one was done abroad, which says a lot about how much traveling has shaped his collection.
His first was for his grandfather, who taught him to draw. Davy designed it himself. It took a while to talk his parents into it, but he remembers exactly what he felt once it was done: happy, and like something had been settled.
The one that means the most now isn't the biggest or the newest. It's a line he and his wife got just before their wedding, positioned so it runs from her arm to his when they hold each other. They got that instead of rings.
Mad Rabbit's been part of the routine for every tattoo since that first one: repair, sunscreen, lotion, balm, rotated by season. Lotion and sunscreen carry the summer, balm takes over in winter.
Ask him what tattoos have given him outside the art itself and he doesn't hesitate: a way to express himself, and a way to keep certain memories alive. The wedding piece makes that literal.

Ambassadors who get featured have at least one sale, one challenge completion, and have filled out the "Get Featured: Ambassador Spotlight Submission" questionnaire in their dashboard.
Challenges 📅
Five days left. Most of these are still sitting at single-digit completions out of ten thousand-plus of you, which tells me people don't realize how fast they actually are. None of them need a trip, a purchase, or the tag itself.
Proof of Travel. Tattoo next to anything travel: a suitcase, a boarding pass, a postcard. No trip required. Your camera roll probably already has this shot.
X Marks the Spot. Tattoo or product at a landmark. Your town's welcome sign counts. Genuinely that easy.
Trip-Proof Your Ink. Two minutes, a quiz, no posting at all.
Commission Class. One post to everyone you know who's traveling this summer, plus your code.
IG Story Template | Tag Drop. Post the template, tag the drop. Built for this, takes one Story.
All of it closes for good Monday, 8/31. Whichever one takes you two minutes, that's the one to knock out today.
→ CHECK YOUR AUGUST CHALLENGES
Next Up: September 🍂
We're switching things up next month. September is less about making a perfect post and more about showing us where Mad Rabbit actually fits into your life.
Coming soon:
Where Mad Rabbit Lives. Show us where your Mad Rabbit stuff actually ends up. Bag, bathroom counter, desk, tattoo setup, trip, wherever. Real moment, not a staged shot.
Make One Sale, Earn Bonus Points. Your first sale in September- that's it.
Spotted in the Wild. See Mad Rabbit on a shelf somewhere out in the world? Snap it—no post required.
Tattoo Aftercare Quiz: Hard Mode. You asked for harder trivia. This one means it.
Artists: What's on Your Station? Licensed artists and apprentices, show us the real setup. Mad Rabbit can be in frame without the school-picture treatment.
September challenges go live soon. Finish August strong, then we'll see what you've got.
